Let The Games Begin – Richmond Corporate Games
It’s a good time had by all as teams from all over Richmond vie for the championship and bragging rights through a series of friendly competitions like the Jump Rope Jive, Zany Relay, Obstacle Challenge, Summer Skiing, 500-Yard Relay and everyone’s favorite event, the grand finale traditional tug-of-war. Each competition requires a wide variety of skills – strength, speed, coordination and good old-fashioned teamwork.
Aside from the fun, competition and camaraderie among all the participants, the primary purpose of the games is about raising money for the Special Olympics Virginia. It’s about the dynamic of bringing people together as they offer their time, talents and financial resources in a program of people helping people – and this teamwork has raised over $100,000 since 1998 for the Special Olympics Virginia.
Whether you are a competitor, fan supporting your favorite team or a volunteer, these games are fun-filled and exciting for everyone who attends.
