Innsbrook Announces Record Philanthropic Impact After Business Growth

December 18, 2018

A record 2.85 million dollars was raised in Innsbrook in 2018 in honor of many charitable causes serving the needs of thousands in our community. Nearly 100 events benefited local charities thanks to sponsors, business owners, participants, enthusiastic organizers and the spirit of giving that resonates in Innsbrook and, indeed, throughout RVA.

Innsbrook is the overwhelming choice for business and community events.  Since its inception, the Innsbrook Foundation has hosted events that include a strong philanthropic focus.  This focus is evident in every single event that takes place in the 650-acre park.  The aphorism “rising tides lifts all ships” [John F.  Kennedy] was reflected in the growth in events and business in one of the largest business parks in central Virginia.  Those rising tides inspired participants, employees, organizers, and visitors to connect to the amazing causes that are championed in Innsbrook every day. 400 companies-strong with 20,000 employees and thousands of visitors leads to touching the lives of others by working and winning together. That is Innsbrook.

The Innsbrook Foundation worked with over 30 charitable organizations in 2018, ranging from names such as Special Olympics and the Alzheimer’s Association to K9s for Warriors and the Henrico Christmas Mother in hopes that we can extend our reach to help those in need.  One of the most important ingredients in this recipe is the community.  Many came out to support and enjoy events such as Innsbrook’s Paloozas, Table Talks breakfast meetings, countless 5K races hosted by charities themselves, and everything in between in order to support these causes.  In addition to fundraising, “fun-raising” was also a mission this year to spread joy to everyone involved in and affected by these positive endeavors.

Volunteers are the backbone to these types of operations.  We would be remiss not to mention the thousands of volunteers that filled essential positions during the past year.  It takes many determined and caring people to execute the array of events that take place.  If you are looking for the spirit of giving, look no further than Innsbrook and the superior organizations we bring into our community.

Innsbrook is a privately-owned office park.  The Innsbrook Foundation would like to thank property managers and owners for their support in hosting these events on pristinely maintained grounds, with ample parking, and close to interstate highways.  None of these events would be possible without the efforts of the owners and businesses.
