Innsbrook Cares for Community: “Paws Helping Paws” September 9th
September 9 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Bring your furry friends to get a microchip and mani-pedi, with all proceeds going to relief efforts for animals affected by Hurricane Harvey.
Pamper your pet to a mani-pedi and a microchip to help them return home if they are separated from home. Dog and cat owners are invited to take advantage of this great service and fundraiser. Smiling volunteer groomers will microchip well-behaved dogs and cats with AKC Reunite microchips for $20, and do mani-pedis for dogs and cats for $8.00. The event will be held on the back patio of 4521 Highwoods Pkwy on Saturday, September 9th from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Proceeds from “Paws Helping Paws” will go to relief and aid for animals affected by Hurricane Harvey in Southeast Texas. Thousands of family pets, including dogs, cats and horses have been separated from their owners and handlers in the wake of the storm. Aside from the separation, the funds raised at the event will help these animals with the numerous health issues that are associated with the flood waters. Many people don’t realize that horses do not do well standing in water. Hooves slough off as does skin after just a short period of time. Those horses will need extensive vet work as a result of this storm system. Any and all donations can make a difference in the lives of these animals. Bring your pets to “Paws Helping Paws” to show your support!
