Innsbrook Showcases International Elite Triathletes May 7
The Liberty University Online Academy East Coast Triathlon Festival
On May 7, Innsbrook showcases some of the world’s best up-and-coming triathletes as well as local triathletes in this spectator-friendly swim, bike, run event. Now in its fifth year, young triathletes from all over the world will compete at Innsbrook as they strive to qualify among the top professional athletes in their sport.
The triathlon festival has been selected for one of three US races on the International Triathlon Union worldwide elite series and will host some of the top professional triathletes in the world. In addition, the festival will host a junior elite race that is one of four in the country as well as an amateur adult and kid’s triathlon.
For both triathletes and spectators, this day long event is dynamic. We invite you to watch some of the fastest and most talented triathletes swim in the lakes in Innsbrook and bike and run along Cox Road and Highwoods Parkway. Best locations for spectating include the bridge near 4600 Cox Road, 4521 Highwoods Parkway parking lot and shoreline next to Markel Corporation building at 4600 Cox Road. Please look for signage directing you to the best places for FREE parking.
