We engage the community, provide opportunities for you to tell your story, and invite the leaders of our community to share information about subjects that are important to you. Mr. Vithoulkas will bring us up to date on the “State of the County” in a Town Hall format. The town hall style presentation will give you a chance to bring your questions about the core areas of Henrico that affect your daily life. Tell us what’s important to you regarding education, business growth, infrastructure, sports and entertainment, and safety.

Mr. Vithoulkas will focus on what’s locally relevant to your community at this month’s breakfast meeting with an inside look on “The State of the County”.
John Vithoulkas joined the Henrico County team in 1997 as a budget analyst in the Finance Department. For 16 years, Mr. Vithoulkas devoted himself to the greater good of the Henrico County area. On August 14, 2012, he was unanimously appointed County Manager by the Henrico County Board of Supervisors and was sworn into office on January 17, 2013, as the eighth County Manager since Henrico adopted the County Manager form of government in 1934. 20 years of experience has brought John Vithoulkas, as well as the county, a long way.
As the County’s chief administrative officer, Mr. Vithoulkas is responsible for all county general government operations; an approved annual fiscal plan of more than $1 billion in operating and capital budgets; and a workforce encompassing more than 4,000 general government employees. Under the County Manager form of government, Vithoulkas also serves as Director of Public Safety.
