Back by popular demand, the Innsbrook Foundation is hosting this family harvest festival featuring the largest Punkin’ Dunkin’ contest around! We will help you load your pumpkin into the formidable trebuchets skillfully designed and built by local high school students who are competing to be named the 2017 Champion! This year, we have two teams already registered! The ACE Center at Highland Springs and The Highland Springs Center for Engineering are going head-to-head this year to see who will win.  Think you can launch a pumpkin farther? Enter today! The mark to beat is a whopping 735 feet, which was celebrated by the Highland Springs High School Center for Engineering team! Plus, the best local high school bands are coming out to compete in the 3rd annual “Battle of the Bands” with some of the greatest jazz and popular tunes ever! Contact the Innsbrook Foundation to sign up a school band!

Sit back and relax by the water with a refreshing fall brew and listen to our Battle of the Bands contest or watch and participate in a myriad of pumpkin events including Punkin’ Dunkin’, pumpkin bowling, pumpkin painting and even an apple chunking contest with the Highwoods Properties’ crossbow.  Browse through our fall market with over 15 local vendors! Grab your favorite festival food and enjoy the Markel Kidszone with pony rides, a petting zoo, a moon bounce and straw bale fun or climb the Truliant FCU Rock Wall! NEW THIS YEAR….Bring your furry friends for our Canine Costume Contest or participate in our All-Ages Costume Contest yourself, PLUS we’ve added the Endorphin Fitness Bike Safety Rodeo.  Whether you’re 9 or 90, a toddler or an executive, you won’t be able to resist the excitement at this year’s Pumpkin Palooza!

There will be something for everyone, including everyone’s favorite apple-launcher with the chance to “get set, aim, and hurl” your apples across Lake Rooty into a target for fun prizes! Speaking of prizes, plan to put together a creative costume to win big in one of our costume contests.  It’s not just for kids! We will have seasonal beverages, delicious dishes, and lots to do for adults looking to have fun too!

This year’s event benefits the Cameron K.  Gallagher Foundation which is a beacon of hope for those who are affected by teenage depression and anxiety.  The CKG Foundation empowers teens and their families to proactively take care of their mental health and seek help when they need it.  At the event, you can make a donation with our bucket brigade and purchase pumpkins which will help support the critically important mission of CKG.

The 2017 Lineup Will Knock Your Socks Off!
