The Innsbrook
Classic is in its 7th year. For the second year in a row
the tournament benefits ASK (The Association to Support Children
with Cancer). Since 1975, ASK has provided financial, spiritual,
social and emotional support for children with cancer and
their families. While the hospital and medical staff focus
on treatment, ASK works to provide the quality-of-life support
needed to make going through treatment less traumatic. ASK
supports the ASK Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Clinic at
VCU Health Systems in Richmond, VA.
Each team vies for the title of the Innsbrook Classic Tournament
Champion. The winning team keeps the traveling trophy for
one year, and then they turn it over to the new winner. The
tournament is played at the Dominion Club, in a shotgun format.
Besides the 1st place bragging rights, each 1st-3rd place
team wins prizes.
