2008 will be the 23rd anniversary of the Richmond Corporate
Games. We are proud to again name Special Olympics Virginia
as our charitable partner. Each year we have approximately
20-30 teams vying for the championship. The games are a citywide
event, and we encourage companies from all over Richmond to
participate. Even though the competition is serious, the primary
purpose of the games is to raise money for Special Olympics
Virginia and to be a team building, synergistic experience
for companies and their employees. Trophies are awarded for
the top 3 positions in each league, along with 2 sportsmanship
trophies voted on by the teams and the referees. There are
2 leagues which are determined by company size. The 2008 games
continue to be a combination of athletic events which test
speed, skill, endurance, and our sense of humor. Some of the
most popular and fun games to watch are the tug of war, obstacle
course, and zany relay. We hope you will consider competing
in our 2008 Richmond Corporate Games. If you have any questions,
please call Denise Kranich at 217-8800 or e-mail her at dkranich@innsbrook.com.
