Richmond, V.A., (October 20, 2008) - Highwoods Properties, Inc., the largest owner and operator of suburban office properties in the Southeast, today announced that it was invited for the first time ever to ring the opening bell on the New York Stock Exchange on Friday, October 17 in recognition of the Company's 30th Anniversary. Kristie Inge, leasing representative, was selected to represent Highwoods Richmond Division.
