On Thursday, February 28th, the 3rd Annual Texas Hold'em Tournament was
held. Corporate sponsors Capital Ale House, Hampton Inn, Highwoods
Properties and HRH each fielded a team of 5 players and dozens of
individuals came out to play for their favorite charity. After a
playoff, John Hill representing Hampton Inn emerged as the Consolation
Round Winner. Brandon Song earned 2nd Place for his performance and
Ryan Weaver representing Capital Ale was named Tournament Champion. As
the winner, Ryan chose The James River Association as the charitable
recipient for the tournament proceeds. The check presentation will
take place at the Earth Day Expo to be held on Tuesday, April 22nd in
the Markel Re building at 4501 Highwoods Parkway.
