Congratulations to Team Highwoods and all who came out to Innsbrook’s annual St.  Paddy’s Palooza benefitting the St.  Baldrick’s Foundation on March 18! Also, we thank and recognize every volunteer, sponsor and shavee who helped the event to be such a success.  We raised much needed funds that will go a long way for research through this day of fun for the whole family, rooted in a great cause with The St.  Baldrick’s Foundation as our charity partner.  The St.  Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity committed to funding the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and giving survivors long and healthy lives.

We would like to recognize and thank everyone who volunteered to be “shavees” for the event to bring the slogan, “Going Bald For A Cure,” to life.  These volunteers collected donations for the St.  Baldrick’s Foundation to support cancer research. In exchange for the funds, volunteers agreed to have their heads shaved to show solidarity with children who lose their hair during cancer treatment.

There are many children and families in our area affected by cancer, like Beckett Wyatt, who was honored at this year’s St.  Paddy’s Palooza.
