Community Growth: New Retail Center at the Dominion Shoppes

The Innsbrook retail community is growing on Broad Street Rd.  at the entrance to Innsbrook.  Construction is underway at the former Texaco and jewelry store locations.  This site, approximately 2.5 acres, is being demolished and cleared to make room for a 12,300 square foot retail center.  The parcel is just west, adjacent to the Innsbrook Shoppes.  The name for the retail center will be Dominion Shoppes, located at 4101 Dominion Boulevard, on the corner where Dominion Boulevard and Broad Street intersect.  According to a Richmond news source, Richmond-based Cushman and Wakefield Thalhimer represented the buyer in purchase of the property and leasing.

Upon completion, The Dominion Shoppes tenants mix will include California-based Blaze Pizza, a build-your-own artisan pizza shop; Noodles and Company, a restaurant serving up a variety of noodle dishes, pastas, salads, and more; a drive-thru Starbucks; Whitley’s Peanut Factory; as well as American Family Care, an urgent care and accessible primary care walk-in clinic.  This new development, featuring the addition of exciting new retail space into the Innsbrook tenant mix, will be scheduled to open during the third quarter of 2017.

Growing Innsbrook for Your Growing Needs: New Traffic Pattern on Nuckols Road

The Innsbrook Owners Association met recently with Henrico County traffic officials and finalized plans for road expansion in Innsbrook.  The road work will help to accommodate the retail and residential expansion that is currently going on and will be a part of the next phase of Innsbrook development.  Signs are already visible on Nuckols road on the northbound side where work will begin later this month to ease rush hour traffic flow.  Work will be restricted to non-rush hour time periods of 9 a.m.  and 3:30 p.m., daily, Monday through Friday. Work is expected to be completed by year’s end.
